Praying in Solidarity

“Will you continue in the prayers?”

         – Baptismal Covenant, Book of Common Prayer

All religions have times each day for going to a church, a temple or a wall, or ringing the prayer bells, or just stopping to “bend the knee.” At St. Mark’s we pray the Morning Office at 8:00am, Monday through Friday, using the daily readings of the Church and praying for those who have been commended to us.  Even if you can’t be physically present, you can participate by following the readings and praying for one another. Readings for the week can be found on page 933 of the Book of Common Prayer. Or go the website below to find the readings and reflections of the day.
